engineering/Miscellaneous Projects
Over the years, I have worked on several projects that I am proud of. Here I would like to demonstrate some of the projects that I believe were the most fun to work on. Feel free to click on the links or the pictures to take you to a more detailed view of each project.
Facial Recognition Door Lock (2019)This project consist of a PiCamera to receive an image input in attempt to recognize who is standing at the door. If the person is recognized in the database through a series of algorithms, then an output will be send to the electronic door strike to unlock the door.

Search and Rescue Drone (2020)This was my senior design capstone project that I worked on with a group of 6 people throughout the year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were many complications to this project, but still check out this page to see what was accomplished and what else was planned with this project.

Smart Mirror (2019)For the project, I wanted another device that I would interact everyday with. This one is a very fun way to keep up on my personal calendar, the local current weather and forecast, as well as some other interesting miscellaneous things.

Musical Tesla Coil (2020)A few years ago, I had an interest in wireless energy transfer, and found that a method invented by Nikola Tesla was able to do just this. It is from this that I began to idolize Tesla and his mind, and decided to finally build my own version of his invention. This device not only acts as a normal Tesla Coil, but also can play music from the electric discharge!

VLSI 555-Timer (2019)For my Intro into VLSI class, I wanted to work on a project that was on the transistor level as I had never created my own circuit out of just transistors. This project was a lot of fun to see how powerful VLSI design can really be.

Rube Goldberg Project (2018)The goal of this project was to use a bunch of the components that were present during the labs of this class and try to find a way to connect them. Creating a machine that has not real function, but is enjoyable to watch in action was interesting to put together.

Lego Mindstorm (2016)This was one of my first engineering projects at Central Michigan University. The goal of this project was to build a robot out of legos that would race to the top of a "hill" and attempt to be on top of the hill instead of your opponent.
